Agony Seems to follow me Why won’t it let me be Dragging me down Memories Always find a way In the end they stay Dragging me down, it won’t be long now So hold fast, go down with the ship Letting go gets the crack of the whip The only constant now is change Break the chain, break the chain Apathy Nothing inspires me No hope in a world so bleak Dragging me down Bravery Afraid to face the day Can’t keep on holding this weight Dragging me down, won’t be long now So hold fast, go down with the ship Letting go gets the crack of the whip The only constant now is change Break the chain, break the chain Days get longer nights get shorter The chain gets tighter not getting younger Live your life while the world’s still turning Soon the seas will all be burning Hold fast go down with the ship Letting go gets the crack of the whip The only constant now is change Break the chain, break the chain Break the chain, break the chain Break the chain, break the chain

I’ve become lost within my mind Body’s aching all the time Twisted limbs and broken bones A heart that’s rotten, dead and numb Doused in blood Bathed in tears You are the enemy It’s you you should fear Hear them talk The lies they spread Don’t give into the voices in your head A heartfelt war raged within Consumed by doubtful thoughts and sin Won’t you let me out this cage A soul too damaged to be saved Doused in blood Bathed in tears You are the enemy It’s you you should fear Hear them talk The lies they spread Don’t give into the voices in your head You can hear them say You’re nothing Everything you touch it turns to shit You’ll die alone No one will ever love you Your hearts gone cold Doused in blood Bathed in tears You are the enemy It’s you you should fear Hear them talk The lies they spread Don’t give into the voices in your head Just get through today There’s hope for tomorrow You’ll feel better soon Just outlive the sorrow You feel hopeless now But you’re not alone A heart that’s rotten, dead and numb

Epilogue

about

In an era dominated by uncertainty, "In the Age of Doubt" delves deep into the perpetual tug-of-war between determining what is right and what is wrong, and the endless pursuit of self-acceptance. The album is set in the same fictional, hedonistic, post-apocalyptic world on the verge of collapse. Amid conflict and chaos, we explore themes of self-reflection, insecurity, disassociation, and escapism. We all could use a break from the world, even from ourselves at times. These songs are an antidote to that harsh reality, a proclamation with those who struggle with doubt in their lives. There’s a tension and release between introspection and indulgence, and it’s too much to take on the weight of the world all on our own. In the end, it’s about the long journey and the connections we make along the way.

THANK YOU
to everyone who’s come to a show,
listened to our music,
or shared our work with a friend.
Creating art can sometimes feel like
screaming into the void,
but meeting and connecting
with all of you is what keeps us going.

To anyone who’s bought us a drink,
let us sleep on their couch,
or let us play in their space... Thank you!

The community we’ve built together
doesn’t just support the music;
we hope it can help us support each other.
We’re all sinners - we all need each other -
and we all need a place where we feel connection.
